These terms are a draft. They will be reviewed before Wicked Curious launches publicly, and we'll email account holders about any material change.

What Wicked Curious is

Wicked Curious (wickedcurio.us) collects public event listings from museums, libraries, universities and other venues around Arlington, Massachusetts, and shows them on one website and in a weekly email. It's free. We don't sell tickets, take registrations or handle payments; every listing links to the venue's own page for that.

Listings can be wrong

We take event details from venues' own websites and feeds, check them, and write short summaries in our own words. Even so, details can be out of date or wrong, and events can change or be cancelled. Always check the venue's page before you go. Accessibility information is as reported by the venue. We're not responsible for events themselves; they're run by the venues.

Accounts

• You must be 18 or older to create an account. By signing up you confirm that you are.
• One account per person. Use your own email address and keep access to it secure, since sign-in links are sent there.
• You can delete your account at any time in your settings.
• We may suspend an account that's used to abuse the service.

Using the site

Please don't overload the site, try to get around its security or rate limits, or use it to send spam. Personal, non-commercial use is welcome, including sharing links to listings.

Venues and takedowns

If you run a venue and want a listing corrected, a feed added, or your events left out, email hello@wickedcurio.us. We reply within five business days and act on takedown requests promptly. We don't copy venues' descriptions or photos, and every listing names and links to its source.

No warranty

Wicked Curious is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the service or from relying on a listing.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and email account holders before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Questions: hello@wickedcurio.us.
